# Workspace Settings

> Workspace info, default model, member management, plan, and the danger zone

The "**Workspace**" group in Settings (General / Members / Activity / Usage) is where you manage settings that affect the whole workspace. Most operations require **owner permission**.

## Workspace info

* **Workspace name** — shown in the sidebar, the account menu, and shared agents (owners only)
* **Workspace ID** — used for things like jinba-flow MCP server integration

## Default model

The model used for new chats started without an agent (ad-hoc chats).

* Changes apply **only to new chats created afterwards**. Existing chats keep running on the model they were created with
* Each agent's model is set on that agent's detail page, in the Settings tab

## Default Skill (for ad-hoc chats)

Skills attached here are used by ad-hoc chats.

* There is a limit on how many can be attached
* Changes take effect from new chats only

## Member management

### Invitations

Use "Invite" to issue an invitation with an email address and role. When someone signs in with that email address, they are added as a member automatically.

* Invitees must already belong to this workspace's **organization**. Inviting someone outside it fails with "**The invitee is not a member of this workspace's organization. Invite them to the organization first.**" — have an organization owner or admin add them to the organization, then invite them
* **Pending invitations** are listed and can be voided with "Revoke"
* You cannot invite once the plan's member limit is reached

### Bulk add (organization members)

"**Bulk add**" next to Invite (owners only) opens the organization's member directory so you can add many people at once.

* People already in the workspace or with a pending invitation are not shown. Narrow the list with the filter box and remove individual rows before submitting with "**Add members**"
* People who already have an account become members right away; people who have never signed in join automatically on their first sign-in
* The plan's member limit applies here too

### Roles

| Role       | What it allows                                                       |
| ---------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner**  | Everything (changing settings, managing members, deletion, and more) |
| **Member** | Regular use (chatting, creating agents, and more)                    |

* Change roles with "Promote to owner" and "Demote to member"
* The last owner cannot be demoted. Promote another member first

### Removing members

Remove members from the member list. To remove another owner, demote them to member first.

## Workspace activity

An append-only log of administrative operations such as member removals and role changes. Visible to owners only.

## Usage

The "Usage" tab shows your current plan (Free / Standard / Professional / Enterprise) and a usage summary including credit consumption and member count. To change plans, talk to your workspace owner.

## Organization settings

Organization owners and admins can manage the whole organization from "**Organization settings**" in the Settings screen (workspace list, members, connector / tool access controls, usage, run history, audit logs, and more).

## Danger zone

  The following operations cannot be undone. Review carefully before proceeding.

* **Leave workspace** — until you are invited again, you lose all access to this workspace's chats, agents, and knowledge. The sole owner cannot leave
* **Delete workspace** — every chat, agent, skill, knowledge source, file, and connector inside is deleted. You must type the workspace name to confirm

## Creating and switching workspaces

* Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to switch to another workspace or create a new one
* In the creation dialog, "**Add all organization members**" loads the organization's member directory into a list you can prune (filter by name or email, remove individual rows). Everyone left on the list is added when the workspace is created — members who have never signed in join automatically on their first sign-in. This is a one-time addition, not a continuous sync with the organization
* Workspaces belong to organizations. Workspaces in other organizations show an "other org" badge; selecting one switches you to that organization
* SSO sessions may be locked to the organization you signed in with. In that case, sign out first, then switch
